THIS JUST IN!! MUSLIMS MAD AT POPE

 Oh Really!? Next thing you know some of them will be trying to kill a Pope,uh, wait a minute they alreadytried that. Let's just get this out there right now----the very fact that there even IS a Pope makes a whole lot of 'em mad. And if they can't get at the Pope, why, some garden variety Christians anywhere will do...uh, wait again, i just remembered that riots generated by Muslims against Christians is a fairly common happenstance. So, what's an angry Muslim to do? You just know that there will be the ubiquitous US flag-burning at the Friday Night Dance. And that raises a question that has long had me wondering---just where do they get all these US flags througout the Muslim world? It sems to me that being in the US flag-manufacturing business in the Third World is a rather lucrative endeavor, indeed. Worst of all, in this latest installment of "Muslims Gone Wild" we're all going to be subjected to yet another recitation of the Crusades...rick

Why I don't think elected Dems care about the Military

Besides the obvious factor; which is you'll find darn few registered Democrats in the military and i'll take a real wild guess and say none to pratically none whose political viewpoints are to the Left. No, it is their insistence on quoting casualty figures. I mean, sometimes it seems they have someone on his hands and knees with his or her head under the surgical tent at a forward hospital taking notes on deaths and serious injuries sustained by our Troops! Why does this hurt and anger me, you ask? Well, does anyone recall hearing the Dems bewailing deaths and/or injuries in Afghanistan or anywhere else for that matter. Ask any elected Democrat how many American casualties have occurred in Afghanistan and if they can correctly answer the question i owe you a Blue Hawaiian in Maui (you pay your own expenses on getting there)!!  Like the Democrats in the aftermath of the Civil War, our present day Demos wave the bloody shirt only in the interest of scoring political points. EGAD!! They remind me of the Somalian technicals who dragged the bodies of those Army Rangers through the dusty steets of Mogadishu...rick

Guantanamo

Can you remember when the first 'detainees' began arriving at Guantanamo Bay? Do you also remember how some immediately began lecturing the rest of us that "...these people practice a "deviant" form of Islam and are not to be confused as the everyday beleivers of that religion.." While i'm certain that is true why then the angst over said detainees ability to practice their religion? And why the pretend soul-searching over their "rights"? During WWII and the Korean War ,POW's ,(the honorable of those captured on the battlelfield, and not to be confused with the hellhounds in Gitmo), were kept confined long-term until the cessation of hostilities and who had, as far as i can find, no built-in faction in the USA serving as their spokespersons in the least, and as their benefactors at worst (or best if your pont of view is from the Left). And i won't  mention Amnesty International or the U.N. who apparently never even heard of jailing people on the island of Cuba until we built a rather light and airy outdoor penitentiary for those who would harm us all! The President and Republican leaders in Congress must continue to push aggresively for Military Tribunals under the full light of a just-begining campaign season and let us all see who wants to see a 12th-Century minded individual with 21st Century military capabilities stand up and defend himself befor a panel of US Military officers and who does'nt......rick
