Now that the primaries are over, sort of, i am now out of the barn and ready to ride again against the Democrats; oh, and by the way, isn't it time they pick a new name for what was once an America First style of political party?? Today, i want to expose an opinion piece published in the NYT (surprise!!) on June 3 by somebody named Robert Baer. Mr. Baer claims the Bush Administration continues to perpetuate the LIE of the defeat of Al-Queda within Iraqi borders. He apparently will not accept that Al-Queda is, or ever was, the driver of most of the combat and slaughter of innocents, for that matter, up to and including the present. Mr. Baer even claims to have a friend who tells him that "even behind closed doors" the President and his closest advisors continue to tell each other that Al-Queda is and was in Iraq. Well, who not, Mr. Baer?! May i repeat a remark that Christopher Hitchens made to an unruly audience on the Bill Maher show---"they even spelled it out--'Al-Queda IN Iraq' so that even the most dim-witted would understand it". But that's enough for the Rob Baer's in this country---if the enemy boasts they're there those at the NY Times holler.."No you're not." Wassup wid dat? And, if Osama bin Laden or al-Zwahiri claim that Iraq is the Central Front of the war against us, which is the exact phrase they have used any number of times, people like Mr. Baer still refuse to believe it...or do they?
